Ok so I'm doing a 90 to 91-94 throttle body swap on my GSX. I was following the write up on here on how to do it, but I'm having a issue with the wiring. My 90 tps only has 3 wires coming from it but also a wire coming from the plug connector for the throttle stopper. And the tps in the 91-94...
It seems like you would get this to avoid modifying the frame rail. With the pulley you have to grinding away from the motor mount. Seems like a pricey pointless feature. But the craftsmanship on the pulley looks really great though.
I'll throw in the BPR7es and make a new log tonight once i get home from work, if that ever happens.I found a popped off coupler when I was going to put my plugs in. A big cause of not being able to go WOT.
I might try replacing my spark plugs. I got BPR9es. I'll try 7's and hope that fixes the problem. As soon as i try to hit boost it sputter so I was thinking plugs. I cant get it to do a full WOT pull either.
Everything is brand new. Heres my build if you haven;t seen it.http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/dsm-build-journals/432399-my-90-gsx-build-updated-videos.html
Ok so I got my ECU fixed....with a buddys spare hehe. And now we are trying to get the WOT tuned. When I enter boost the car hits a brick wall. Fuel cut maybe? Heres a log, please help.
I seen them all and forgot about the most important one. Thanks for making me watch them again lol. Gonna give it a go.Made some adjustment to a few things. Let me know what you all think of the idle tune. Ignore the end of the log. I was driving it to the mail box and back which isn't...
I am new to link so I have no idea what the parameters should be for anything. I am on the idle tuning process and need help. I have 1250cc fic bluemax injectors, AFPR, 2g maf and a LC1wb. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.-Mike

This is a late update but o well. The car is running now and sounds like a beast. If I can I will try to upload a video. But here is a newer pic but in the pic the car wasn't running yet.Remember this is a pic before i finished, I will try to upload a video this weekend.
Peeling it up with your finger is way different than some ones huge ass rubbing against it in some jeans. You'll find out. Don't say I didn't warn ya.
<------Uses plasti-dip all the time!
As soon as your brush up against the door panel or have someone slide into the back seats, be prepared for it peeling. If you want to paint your panels the right way use this stuff.http://www.vhtpaint.com/products/hoodbumpertrimpaint/
How would the dimmer switch be the cause? The constant power for the radio makes the dash lights come on when its grounded. I doubt its the dimmer switch.
Fuses are fine. I checked all the radio wires for voltage because I was putting in my CD player. But when I hit the constant power wire to a ground the dash lights come on. I'm dreading searching for a shorted out wire.
I am having a problem with the dash lights. They wont come on using the steering wheel switch. As I was hooking up my radio I touched the radio's red wire with a black line on the metal inside the radio space. When I did that the dash lights cam on with out the key on or the switch being on...

I got tired of looking at the pile of pistons in my garage. I also got tired of looking for a pen when I need one, so I made a pen holder out of a old piston.
I did a little spit shine to it :hellyeah:
