sorry for my ignorance.. i read it but didnt process it.. try this..my friend once installed a FMIC and had bad ventilation going to the radiator which caused similar issues..
if the temp rises and then just drops and repeats again and again.. sounds like a bad thermostat... the thermostat could be opening late, when the temp is already high reason why the temp goes back down when it does open..

yea i really couldnt check the big fuses too well, lacking light source... but def like i said it sounded more like a fuse issue because there werent any clicking or anything.. at first i thought is was th starter because there wasnt any cranking or sounds at all but once we noticed the windows...

i think its really only the "enthusiasts".. i heard in another thread that STM or AMS i dont recall, cut the cord on the DSMs and no longer have a tab for us... smheverything will be very expensive and i only see the people who own shops and high rollers that still have hope for dsms
i hear ## arguement and YES for the power to money ratio, they are good for the money.. i mean to find a dsm for 5 grand and drop some mods.. say: link, injectors, turbo, exhaust, wideband, fuel pump, afpr , MBC that alone can get you GREAT gains for the price and be faster than $15,000 cars...
i left the dsm game.. only because i cant trust in buying a another one.. either u have to dump loads to get it running mint again or you will spend a good 5 to 8 grand on a mint one.. To me it isnt worth it anymore.. i just bought a clean mk4 5 speed 1.8t gti and im not to happy.. why? because...
im pretty sure its your coil pack-man.. The only reason i could believe that it could be the CAS is because when they did the headgasket on your car.. its possible they didnt plug it in correctly..
same here.. i recently left the dsm for a brief moment and jumped on a GTI 1.8T.. they talk about "crankwalk" and all this junk, all the time about 4g63s..whereas the 1.8T is used all over us and europe in thousands of different cars, so of course there is more hate..Look at the ratio...
