I've ran a lot of nitrous on several different setups. When you run boost plus nitrous things get very serious very quick. Most tuners can't even get a setup correct on just boost only. You must have an impeccable boost only tune first, then you can start adding nitrous. Many tunners like...
Thanks for sharing that video, I had not seen that one. Made the video so that is cool! Saw a lot of old familiar faces I have not seen in awhile. That was about the pinnacle of the SO. Se La Vi. I'll add some context to the video... LOL
How do you know the under the hood temps are high? Besides you own a turbo car that is stock with 195* thermostat and you live in FL, of course under the hood temps will be high.
I'll play. Curious minds want to know, if the Boost est and real boost should not match, what should they be? Please post a log of what a proper SD table should be at WOT.
Yeah, you are getting it. Like I said changing the DA would change the A/F itself and the log proved that. Lower timing to around 12 A WOT, I always start real low and work up. Change your A/F DA up to 12.2 across the board. You are probably going to have to take some global out.Wrong...
The slower the car and less boost the easier it is to line those up . You can spend the time tweaking the SD table also to dial in the A/F ratio, again close enough works, you are too focused on A/F ratio, it isn't that important. MAFs also count the air much better than SD giving a more...
Honestly it doesn't matter what your estimate is at, all you care about it what it is. Now changing the estimate will affect the A/F itself. But if the A/F is where you want it, that is all that matters. If you did change the A/F est to mimic it exactly in my case I would have to go in adjust...
I'll say it one more time and then I am out. You are too rich, it has nothing to do with a safe space. That is an absurd A/F ratio, please lean it out, correct A/F can fix problems. Besides A/F are not nearly as dangerous as too much timing.
Here, load this and try again. I would also give the BISS screw a bunch of turns out, who knows where it is at, I can't count how many times people say it won't run only to have engine trying to idle @ 400rpm.
I've seen this before and it can be a marionette of things. Boost control is def one of the first, good wastegate, proper short line size and good controller. BOVs could be an issue. Also just the harmonics of the engine as well, length of intake/ exhaust etc. Try getting a way better tune...
Yep that is super low. On a similar note my cousin up in North Dayton Ohio came across a red FWD TURBO laser with 15k on it for sale last weekend, so you got it beat by a few thousand miles. It's still for sale I guess, I dunno he ran into him.

These are the PRO level axles from DSS.Order time was 4.5 months, cost was 1,550$Quick install here, it's basic R&R job, took 4 hours.Everything fit real nice, no issues other than don't use the supplied C clip for the passenger axle it didn't fit, I just took off my old OEM one and reused...
I recommend getting the tank anodized when done. I went down that path. After years I had problems with water in the cell eating the bare aluminum, got it anodized, never a problem again.
I give my review of the calipers at the end of the video. The rear brakes is a full on custom thing, there is nothing to discuss really. It basically proprietary, can it be done again? Yes, but I am not going into how and what was needed.
They are not that brittle, just get another OEM one. I have one of each of my cars and they are both fine. I like how they date stamped them also so you know when exactly they were made.

All 90s cars are expensive now because they don't exist anymore. Simple supply and demand economics. As far as restoring them, I have been down that path many times as I have done it many times. There is no money to be made. By the time you rebuild a motor, get a legit turbo, full exhaust...
What options besides the Mishimoto are available today for 1gs, they are not my favorite? My Fluidyne has started leaking out the tube fin area after 20 years, boooo. They don't make them anymore, Koyo only makes 2gs, Megan doesn't make them. Is there anybody that makes custom ones, I would...
Sorry guys there was one FP whiskey glass and I got it. Thanks Robert Wyatt and Amber and the rest of the FP crew for coming again, great to see and talk to you all again, keep building the best turbos out there.
So things got a little interesting in the quick class in the semis. Devin was racing some awd Honda. The Honda hole shots side ways and taps the wall. Devin gets out but the car breaks very early and can't go and he is trying to coast to the finish line but the Honda keeps going and beats him...
