Trying to find anyone with results with a borg warner s247,s250, or s252 for the price they seem like a good alternative to a td06h 20g which i plan on putting together. Been looking on the web and tuners and people have had good results with there s300 series but can't find anything on s200...
Im curious to see how your setup performs with the new turbo and stroker, i can't decide between a td05h or td06h 20g for autocross on my 2.4....good luck with your new motor
Good luck with your build! I have a similar setup in the works thru bogus, 2.4 long rod in my 98 auto gsx hopefully running a ts hx40 or gt35r within a few months when im back from work. My main concern is the timing side with a 63 head on 64 block
Good luck with your build! I just bought a 98 2g gsx from medford and the motor quit on me as soon as I got back home so a 2.4 long rod is in the works with a hx40
Okay so I bought a 98 gsx with 100,000 miles last week drove 2 hours away to pick it up and as I was driving it back home on the freeway I was like 5 minutes away it started smoking bad my brother was driving behind me so he started flashing his lights, as soon as I noticed it I pulled over and...
If.you plan on staying with mits. Style turbos then a fp manifold will be plenty for your goals, all depends on which style of turbo you run such as t3, t4, twinscroll, vband, ect.
Extreme psi and stm. Also before you go out and buy random parts make a plan and goal for the car, do research on setups and what not based on what you want out of your car.
For your goals stay with the td05h unless you want more power plus lag, the bigger inlet will allow your turbo to take in more air resulting in more airflow with the correct matching intake pipe.
Forced Performance Turbochargers: FP HTA DSM86 Ball Bearing Turbocharger2g or evo 3 exhaust manifold with fp hta dsm82 or dsm86. Or you could wait for fp to come out with there bolt on housing hx40.
Been interested on how vband manifold/turbos perform on a dsm, can't wait to see results. Also didn't catch what turbo you'll be running and the size of the turbine housing.
For your goals a fp green will suit you best no need to over do it. On a street driven car I wouldn't go any bigger fp red, hx35 or hx40 overkill. Also do you wanna stay with a bolt on turbo? If not I personally would run a hy35 with a t3 erl or turbonetics manifold.
My vote is an hy35, a bit slower spool but will support your needs. You won't have any regrets with this turbo.

Looking to buy an eclipse spyder before the year ends so if anyone is looking to sell there car pm me. Would prefer good all black interior condition, not worried bout aftermarket would prefer a stock car but if it runs fine a few mods would do.
Small 16g will have full boost around the 3k mark and rated for 300-400whp. Fpt28 250-350whp. Look at these members setups.

Hey justin do you think the erl exhaust manifold is the best cast manifold in the market for our cars? Or are there other better options. I just want the most durable manifold for dd and of course good fitment.
Hey justin, I wanna turbo my dd 2g 4g64 sohc which turbo 17c 8cm housing or hahn 16g 10cm housing can get both for same price? The most I wanna boost is around 20psi and make at least 300whp so which one do you think will be more efficient for what I'm looking for. And how does the 17c wheel...
This is a good read so far...either way I'm not saying I'm gunna dump a lot of money to max out the sohc head, I know the dohc swap is the best choice but that will come after the awd swap/turbo swap ,like stated before I'm just interesting in hp/tq people have gotten outta sohc motor when turboed.
I just saw it on there site never seen anything like that on a 4g. Was just putting it out there not saying I'm getting it, I rather port the intake side and if possible get a custom intake manifold made.
