2G AEM oil temp and oil pressure sensor install

The GVR4 variant is just like the 90, they're on the unfiltered side, but without the bottom port for an oil pressure gauge sender (also unfiltered but I don't have one to trace the exact path; going by the casting and what it suggests)The "turo feed", assuming that was Turbo feed, is...

Jesus, Marty, glad you're safe. If you need an expanding foam for around stuff that can potentially ignite, use a fire block foam.I used this whenever I was making holes right through the top plate of a wall that I didn't have access to both sides of. My walls are filled with Roxul mineral...

Lucky you. I'm doing cloud security for a Fortune-whatever company. Been in InfoSec for 16 years, do not enjoy it. but it pays the bills. If you're doing something you feel you should be doing and love it, all the better. I'm envious and I have no idea what that actually feels like.. doing...

2G AEM oil temp and oil pressure sensor install

Realized today I have the GVR4 air cooled OFH that came with this Evolution GVR4 motor, so I have one 1/8 BSP and one 3/8 BSP port for attachments. I don't have the spare 1/8 BSP on the bottom as the 90 OFHs have. Wanting to keep the idiot light, aftermarket oil pressure gauge sender...

Adjust your BISS to fix the ISCPosition It took 1:22 to go from 30 to 10? I'd say that's successful. I don't even test that high and I generally look for 1:30 from 25 to 10. After that, the less pressure, the longer it should take until you're bored and you call it good.

    Knock sensor test?

The problem is we never really know for absolute certain.. we have to kind of trust that it will pick up what it should when it should. We don't have a 100% controlled, repeatable test bench. Marty's suggestion could very well work. RawKnock may or may not show, depending on when you rapped on...

Do you have another set of injectors you could borrow?Pointless anecdote: I've had a warm very random misfire ever since I went 2g ecu and fic-750s in my 1g. Leviton tamper proof outlets, which are code here for anything reachable by kids, are an annoying design, for sure. And I've had one leviton face detach from the body on a 20A outlet. For my install rate between our two houses (at different times) ive had about a 2% failure rate, which isn't...

We have shit for charging infrastructure here but EV will likely be the next car we own after my cx5 gives up. I don't drive that much so my gas costs are maybe 150-200/month. EV would add an extra 800 at least, due to financing and then whatever it costs to install a charger here. We have a...

Just watch the fingers on the pressure plate before you put the trans back on. If they're totally flat, you're likely still going to have a problem and it's potentially a fat disc causing the issue. Otherwise, the last variable is a bad pressure plate.

    Rings and bearings

Oil on the intake side like that is common when there's no catch can and the PCV is routed directly to the IM. That's why we install catch cans. Poorly made cans with no baffles or catch material that can condense oil vapour is almost as bad. Valve stem seals leak down the valve but don't blow...

    Rings and bearings

I'd potentially order two, if you can budget it. Every set I get is damaged in some way. Knicks and gouges on a bearing surface seems to matter not to ACL quality control, especially when they jam them together during packaging. I thought Australia had more pride in their work than that.

2G Won't start after Fuel pressure regulator Diaphragm replaced

First, with those kind of numbers, I'd do a compression test on another engine you know is at least reasonably good. That way you can validate the tester itself. That's better than the other direction the fork end could be, yes. That's also why a taller step is better than a shallower step. 2G Recommended size of injector to run with 20G?

1000s will do that HP goal on pump fine. 1000 isn't even large anymore. Just get good quality injectors that are tried, tested, and validated by the community to operate well on short pulse widths (idle). In the early days they used to be finicky.

It's the other way around. The further the PP friction surface is inwards to the flywheel due to the step height being too great or the clutch disc being too worn/thin, the further the TOB moves away from the pressure plate due to the fingers moving the opposite direction. That causes the push...

What did you do to your DSM today?

And your step was correct? weird. Only thing I can think of then is either the ball or fork is worn, the fork is bent, or the PP fingers aren't sticking out as far as they need to due to manufacturing error. Either that or your clutch disc is too fat causing the fingers to retract further inward...
