I know Buschur Racing baffles evo oil pans, I would think they would do ours as well. I wanted to get mine baffled and a spot for the oil temp gauge so was going to attempt to contact them. Not sure if they would provide the hinged baffles or deeper sump option but may be worth contacting them.
Just picked up a rusty 96 eagle talon esi. Full part out of car. Front seats, hood, headlights, trans, and a couple misc things are already taken. Everything else is fair game. Interior is not in terrible shape. PM on here or shoot me a text at 701-500971six.
Maybe use special bolts like allen head, torx screws, or tampered torx? I just recently bought a pair of carbon fiber foglight bezels from special-carbonfiber and they fit quite nice and look really good!
Yeah doesn't hurt to note things. I don't do it much anymore as being a technician I learned to memorize where hoses and bolts go but before I used to use tape and either note what it is and where it goes. Or write #1 then #1 on corresponding part. Also taking pictures helps a lot as well.
For the BFH rear diff I believe only the inner cups are different and the axles are the same as the non lsd. I was curious of the same thing and was told by multiple people though I cannot 100% confirm as I haven't done it yet on my GSX.
Do you think I should lean it out more during spool up and increase timing? I'm away from the car until Friday so if the weather allows I'll try to clean up the tune more.
Like stated just looking for feedback on my 1st e85 pull. Car pulls good at 24 psi but i'm thinking I can increase the timing a bit to make more power. Thanks for the help in advance.

I did an EVO 8 steering on my 2G and had to cut the hub off a 1G and weld it to the evo steering wheel to make it work. There is a write-up on here but not sure if its the same for the EVO X. Basically cut the hub off the 1G and the hub out of the EVO Wheel and weld the 1G hub on the EVO...
I loved the Wildberry Metallic on my 96 Talon. Colored really popped! Black is nice as well but shows every flaw which sucks with the sun faded clear coat. :notgood:
Edit then capture value (F10) to pick the ones you want captured. Edit then display value (F9) to pick the ones you want. At least that's how it is on V3.
It should definitely be in vacuum at idle. On my greddy type s I left that one open and just ran a vacuum line from the top nipple to the intake manifold.
GDI is Gasoline Direct Injection where basically fuel is directly injected into the cylinders. I have heard that there is problems with carbon building on top of the valves since gasoline is not helping clean them off when injected since it goes to the combustion chamber. Apparently CRC has a...
Did you install any resistors with the led's? If no then you might have to install them inline with the bulbs. Hopefully someone with led's will chime in.
A bigger fuse would possibly cause the wire to catch fire instead of blowing the fuse. I don't have led's but know that they sell resistor's to wire in with them to prevent the extra load.
So I found that one of my injector seals tore during installation so I got that fixed today along with a boost leak at my throttle body. Car runs and idles better now but still has a hesitation at partial throttle? Also found a slight exhaust leak between the o2 housing and downpipe so hopefully...
Figure I'd update this a bit. Found that one of my injectors wasn't seating properly causing my erratic idle/deadtime. So I got that fixed but am still hearing a hissing noise from one of them so i'm going to boost leak test tomorrow and see if its not sealing right. Also I did get a new LC2...
I have it at -62.5 and if I set my deadtime to 300-400 it won't start/idle very well but I will try your formula in the morning and see if I can get it to run properly. If it doesn't start or stay idling does that mean I need to increase deadtiming? Thanks for the help btw!
So even if my injectors were flow tested to 1160cc I should still mess with my global settings? I just used the calculator on ecmlink to come up with my global settings and used 1160cc and 43.5 psi of pressure which is what my AFPR is at. I know I shouldn't have deadtimes that high which is why...
Figured instead of starting a new thread i'll add to this one. I just recently installed my Lucas 1200cc injectors and can't for the life of me get the deadtime right. I had them flow tested and they flowed at 1160cc so i used that for my global but to even get the car to idle i'm at 700+...
Just ordered the Innovate LC-2 so hopefully this week I can install it and get this figured out. I'm also going to order a new IAC if I can't get it to stay where it should. Thanks for the help big time!! Also my TPS volts will be at .63 then after driving it will change a bit higher or lower...
The gauge and what it reads on link is fairly close maybe .1 or .2 difference and regarding the ISCPosition I had it right at 30 before and it seems to change on me, maybe a faulty IAC? I'll try readjusting it tomorrow and see if it will stay. I just had my exhaust done so there shouldn't be any...
Everything look good in link then? Or should I take it for a spin and maybe do some different driving? Like I said it seems to be driving better than it was but I didn't drive too long because of that A/F ratio.
No fender flares and yes stock cams. I am really hoping its just the gauge so I don't have to worry too much. My compression is bumped up a bit 8.7:1 I believe not sure if that changes much. I just want to make sure its fine to drive 5 hrs to college because i'm going to try to take it to MAP to...
I have been trying to figure out why my car is running so lean. It was recently running about 14.9:1 - 15.4:1 at idle which was lean but not horrible. I figured it was because a leak I had in the throttle body so this weekend I swapped it out and also replaced my diaphragm on my Greddy Type S...
I'm from Minot but am currently going to school in Wahpeton. When you planning on doing this? It would be sweet and I would definitely be interested in going with my eclipse as long as I have it done by then.
Here is a new log. It idles better but it still sounds like a subaru when i rev it up a bit. Its getting spark and fuel and starts fine just doesn't sound right and doesn't have much power so its undriveable. I'd like to get suggestions before taking it to a shop :notgood:
