Hello! My name is Elliot, this is my first time posting on this forum and have been reading a learning a lot. I know that there already is a few threads that I have read, but was not able to figure out an answer and did not want to disrupt any by asking questions on old responses. So down to my question, I have a 1995 eagle talon tsi and am trying to gather all the information I can for building it, but this thread is specifically for the steering wheel. I was gifted a momo racing steering wheel from a family member that races himself. I wanted to do a quick release set up and found the momo quick release for est. $345 but I cannot figure out a hub, I can only find a NRG hub and have seen mixed reviews and don't wanna put my life at risk if it isn't that good. On another thread I saw that someone said that they had a momo hub but I'm not sure if they meant the quick release part? Thank you to anyone that takes the time to help me with this! I will add the pics of the wheel if that helps at all.

Few things, seat yourself and work out the room you want to come back towards you, that hub is deep and so is the dish steering wheel, so before you know it your already going to come back real fast, a QR will only add the the distance,

That hub will be ok, the NRG hubs are good and short but i honestly hated the design as they make you rip off your clockspring housing as they make zero recess for the bit that sticks out, so thats the bad thing, also you have to get creative with your earthing to keep the horn working, its not hard but something to consider.

This momo unit might be better and give you more room, i dont know as i never used this one, for the most part you got listed what you need, if you dont need a QR dont use one and if you do get a good one,

what i did with my momo wheel was did a regular momo install hub and the nrg short quick release adapter.

Thank you! good to know the nrg hubs are not horrible and that will make life easier buying an nrg hub rather than the momo thank you!!
