Just a little Public Service Announcement.

For those of you running ARP wheel studs (most likely you race or "race" your DSM, which is why I'm posting here):

This summer I ordered a bunch of wheel bearings from Rock Auto for spares and discovered that the Timkin brand comes with short, undersized lug studs, and the knurled hole is too small to install my ARP studs, in fact because the included studs are so short, even on my car with 17x9 35et Enkei's, I didn't have enough thread engagement for me to want to use them. A short tour of the local Auto parts stores revealed that Moog and all the house brands have the same issue.
On my original Rock Auto order I bought a mix of Timkin and Centric to see what if any difference there was, and the cheaper Centric lugs stude do have an OEM knurl.
Amazingly, Rock Auto is allowing me to return 2 of the 3 Timkin's I bought for a refund (minus shipping), even though its been almost 6 months. Kudos to them, I will order from them in the future.
