I recently just replaced my clutch master, slave cylinder, and installed a ss clutch line to try and narrow down a problem i was having with my clutch slipping. Ended up being the clutch itself so fast forward installed a xtd Stage 2 Clutch got it all put together the other day and went to take it for a test drive and the clutch is now engaging on the floor. I have the force the clutch onto the floor super hard other wise i can’t shift into any gears without grinding accuring. I’ve made sure the clutch is bleed and also i have tried adjusting the master. Any help on what might be wrong? I got a new clutch pedal assembly that I’m also going to try and swap into the car to see if that might help or change anything at all

You should fill out a profile so we know what kind of car you are driving.

In the meantime, assuming you drive a turbo dsm, check the bell housing bolts and make sure they are all tight and in place. You should also check the placement of the clutch fork in the window of the transmission. It may need shimmed.

What did you torque the pressure plate bolts to? Did you check the step on the flywheel to make sure it was correct?

XTD is junk and could also be a part of your problem.

When installing the pressure plate i made sure the bolts were all torqued properly i didnt check the step of i haven’t tried shimming the clutch fork yet I’ll look through the forums to figure out how to do so. A problem i thought of was the new master and slave i bought are from rock auto read a couple of posts saying to only go oem

Most likely an issue with flywheel step height. There's a lot of info on the forums about low engagement, so start reading. Bleed your system one more time and make sure you're doing it right and not letting air back into the lines.

A long time ago I did get a master cylinder from O'reilley's that had a significantly shorter rod on the master cylinder and the threads did not go down the rod as far. This made it so that I ran out of adjustment before the clutch was actually adjusted properly. I replaced it with one from I believe autozone and it has worked out for me okay since. But that was back when I was ballin' on a budget. Whenever it goes again I would definitely go with OEM.

There are plenty of pictures that will show you when the clutch fork needs shimmed and when it does not. I always add 1 washer from an old head bolt to the pivot ball to make the fork sit a tad closer to the driver side just to be safe. You have to be careful with this though because you can easily misadjust the clutch and mushroom the bearing or bend pressure plate fingers.
