Anyone close to Knoxville that has any knowledge how to set up Maft and SAfc2 ? I just need to go a ton until I either find ECMlink/Dsmlink and ECU or AEM s2. I'll come to you

What size injectors are you using? I would recommend using the MAFT to set your injector sizes and dial in idle, then use the SAFC2 for fine tuning. You're going to need some kind of way to log your fuel trims, afr, knock and timing. Without timing control you will have to be a little careful at WOT and be a little more conservative with the afr, depending on how big your injectors are. Because as you trick the ECU into thinking it's getting less airflow, it will want to advance timing.

Also I used to go to Knoxville regularly for business meetings many years ago. I haven't been back there in 6 years. Though I still have friends in the area.

Thank you so much guys for the help. As of now unfortunately I haven't found a socketed ECU for Ecmlink/dsmlink so it looks like I'll be going AEM standalone which is by all means the favorite of my options it's going to take a little longer to afford the system. I have 2 Ecu's that have part #'s that could've been socketed or not. i'm guessing by now you've figured out mine were not socketed LOL.

At the and of this reply I'm putting my # I tend to never get my notifications. 7+ years ago they were RC 750's but the original Owner and myself are very close friends. w/ thofffixationse guify that bought it and had stome idiot hands under the hood. They appear to be the sound injectors but i'm buying some this weekend. leaning towards 1000cc maybe 1250's but I'm not sure. I'm listing the entire build today in my account info so thaI everyone can look and gee my setup from the beginning
Again guys and gals,
for any and all help and and information.

I agree, if you have not visited the website www.ecmtuning.com spend some time exploring it and contact them with your needs. I ordered an ECU had it freshened, socketed, chipped, and pre tuned for my gm maf and other sensors. Mr. Thomas Dorris and the rest of the staff made it a very comfortable transaction and answered all my questions in a timely manner both before and after I received my package. Sorry to ramble off but All I want to say is don't jump the gun and just throw money at her!! Thank you for your time Jason Penny

I've been on ECMLINK/DSMLINK and have& Ecu's thatare not socketed. I'm just going to set a sofe tune so I can break in some of the parts I just installed. YouTube channel to start soon. I'm sick of searching DSM and find nothing but" Top 10" why they suck or some numb nut not realizing he's part of the stigma of" Rice" Eclipses

This is what I've got.

Those are both black box ecu's and can be used with Ceddy mods. You just need to invest in a tactrix 2.0 cable and reflash adapter, along with some time reviewing the software need, but you're perfectly capable of tuning with those ECU's.

Do a few quick searches for blackbox ecu tuning, there's a plethora of knowledge on here for it.

Thank you. I've been researching Ceddy and I'll definitely be going that way. I've got a few small things to fix. I'm on pause unfortunatly helping my son with his '95 Civic Hatch.
