Hello Again! I'm back with more newbie Questions. So iv been browsing through this forum a lot and have gained a pretty decent understanding of the 4G63 Engine. I personally own a 99 Gs-t Spyder. And the one component I'm lost on is the turbo system. Iv heard of the Waste-gate and still don't know what it means this and The main question i have is where does the turbo get its oil from.
Thank you for bearing with me and helping me understand this stuff.

Here is a good video to further explain turbo operation and the components that make up the system. In part 2, waste-gate operation is discussed as it relates to the operation on a DSM.

The oil feed line is found under the exhaust manifold on the center section of the turbo:

It goes along the block towards the driver's side.

The oil feeds from the oil filter housing (where your oil filter is).
