Not true.....I just bought one pretty cheap actually from xs power. Cones with all the gaskets and mounting hardware. Only thing is the wastegate setup is for a 4 bolt 46mm wastegate which I al ready had anyways.

Only thing I'm having trouble finding now is a 3" v band exhaust to match the housing which is also 3". I got it all for like 40$ on ebay.....I had the welds all checked by a friend who is a certified welder of 20+ years and he said it's some d@** welds on it. Lol

Punishment makes all there pieces so I don't see why you can't call them and ask them to weld a vband instead of the 2 bolt flange

Yeah but how much do they charge to do that and how much is the housing? I found the same quality of there awesome work for a cheaper price with the v-band already on it. For a fraction of the price also

Are people still buying that chinese junk? I cant figure out why people are buying that garbage to save money. Save your money and do it right. Support these vendors in our community. If i hear...." Its just a pipe" one more time, im gunna shoot myself.

Ok so tell me how the two products are different?

And also show me the factual proven difference and flow rates between the 2. And while we are at it how about the failure thresholds?

Failure Thresholds? Flow rates? These two factors do not come into play for me....its Bolting a Chinese Pos to my engine from a manufacturer that doesn't support its products. My point is give your money to the guy building quality parts for your car. Ive built enough cars to know that instant gratification i.e getting a part of lesser quality for cheaper will always bite you in the ass. The sad reality is a lot of people building these cars, rip them apart, install shitty parts on them and they end up in the junk yard. Do it right the first time......SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY

And yet you cant prove why this part is so Sh**ty as you said. What makes this product any different from any other product on the market? And I do support this community and keep it in here. But I don't see the reason on paying a 500$ difference for the same exact product. I have used this companys o2 housings on the last 4 vehicles I have built, 2 of them being dsm's. Not once has it had any problem whatsoever. So as I said again once you have factual proof showing why its such a "sh**ty" product, then I will withdraw my statement. But as you said those factors don't come into play for you so IMO it sounds like a case of personal preference. OP; Choose what you want and what makes you comfortable about how you do your car, whether it be punishment with a custom fab job or this one. Either way there are other options.

What is there to prove? Its like arguing with someone who wants to use a fake Chinese turbo. Sure they work for some.....But the reality is its garbage. I wont criticize someone for using one......Im just stating my opinion. What makes it different? Your lucky its just an 02 housing, I have seen the welds on some of those exhaust manifolds. I dont want the oxidation "sugaring" on the backside of the welds to break off and destroy my 1900 dollar turbo. But you can buy a Recirculated o2 housing WITH an external wastegate included for 500 dollars from extremepsi? So yes, having a well built, back purged quality manifold/o2 housing is my personal preference. I think for a lot of us "junkies" looking at a beautifully crafted metal sculpture hanging off my engine... I cant in good conscience say to someone asking me..... Garrett?... fp? punishment?... Heres what you do..... go on ebay, buy the XS turbo kit, with the gt35 type r turbo. ok. How many miles did you put on these manifolds? How much boost did you run?

Its hard to tell from the picture .... Was the exhaust welded on an angle? its doesn't look like a smooth transition?
