Yeah, I heard that. I don't make much either, so I know how it is. I have a reciept as proof and I bet those body parts are still on the car.

No wonder his windows got bashed. Makes me wonder how many other people he owes money to...

He got me for $100. Good to know I'm not the only one he's scammed (in a strange sort of way). I've called and left numerous voicemails, texts, PMs and visitor messages, but nothing. He had 100% pos feedback, which is why I had trust in him, but it goes to show that you can't trust everyone. That'd be nice to get my money back and would be much appreciated. :-)

There shouldn't be a delay just because the wires are smaller gauge than the other ones..If theres a good connection the signal should go through almost instantly..Maybe you have the wires touching something else, or something like that so that the connection isn't always going through...You shouldn't need huge diameter wire for this..So I'll think about it and See if I can think of anything..But play around with it and see what you come up with..

The problem with connecting wires like that on this type of thing..If you connect them wrong and shift..The car will want to go in nuetral instead of the gear your trying to go in..I would look in the manual and see which wire is hot and which one is ground..

Don't know a heck of a lot about Modern Muscle, other than that they exist, and I've driven past them a bunch of times. You may find "limited expertise" with four-cylinders there.

For a timing belt, most mechanics can do it (and honestly, it's not that hard to do yourself, with the right tools). You may find that you can get better pricing on parts from DSM-specific shops, however, and they'll likely be able to do the job much quicker (and will often have a fixed quote for that kind of work, because it's so common).

AMS (http://www.amsperformance.com/) up in West Chicago is a pretty safe bet, although not your cheapest option; they've been doing DSM and Evo work for years, and have always been exceedingly professional and competent when I've dealt with them.

There's also Performance Autowerks (http://www.performanceautowerks.com/) down Rt. 59 in Plainfield; they've been good to me for parts, but I've never had service done there.

There's quite a few other shops in the area (Strictly Modified, Boomba Racing, Boostin Performance, etc), but those are probably the closest to Aurora.

Also, take a look at ChitownDSM (http://www.chitowndsm.com/) if you want to talk with other locals.
