It seems that everyone in georgia with a DSM is willing to meet up, but no one has actually posted a thread on organizing one. I think a meet and then possible cruise would be fun, and not neccesarily only DSM's, but car enthusiast alike with sport/tuner cars. we could start a group or...

yea sorry, i was just typing and didn't really think to much about paragraph use what so ever. I needed a 12v cigarette lighter plug that produced more 12v ports. I needed this because I had to plug in 2 seperate plugs, and I only had 1 outlet.this is NOT the one I have, but It is the same...
Here is a pic. I held it from the ceiling, so it's like a birds eye, The seats are also slid as far back as they can go, that's why you see the led lights.
So just wanted to share my experience putting in Interior lighting today in my 2g eclipse, that's all this is so if the title was misleading sorry!I went to ross today and found 2 15" blue led tubes that had a 12v plug (cigarette lighter) and so I baught them figuring I'd give them a try...
I baught this muffler intending to weld it on. It's just a straight pipe, it doesn't look like your dynomax. I'm just looking for a place that will bend me a new pipe and weld the whole gig together for cheap.
Well, if you read my second post, it would be more than a weld. He would have to bend me a new pipe tha extends from the last bolt on location available so that the muffle would sit right, if he just welds on a new muffler he said it will not be in the right spot.is this still to much? does...
so the dude told me is would be a minimum of 150$??????? he says he would have to bend a new pipe to fit my car because if he just welds on my muffler it won't sit right. is this overpriced? does anyone know where i can get this done for cheap?
900 bucks isn't that much, but for real you are going to end up putting alottttttt of money into that car. By the time you replace everything you could have bought one in mint condition for much cheaper. I just bought a 98 Rs with 64K for 4500$. The only problem with the car was the headliner...
If you already blew your turbo, I really don't know how much more damage you will do to your car in 10 miles. I think it would be rediculous to tow it there, unless you have a truck that you can hook it up to. Maybe see if one of your buddies has a trailer. If it were me, I would just putt it...
That kinda sucks that you gave up on the turbo but atleast you got and easier block to work with now. 420a's aren't the easiest things to work with and next thing you know they can't handle the power and you blow the rings. I hope your new dsm turns out okay and you fix some of those problems.:)
for emissions in georgia where i live, you have to have a catalytic converter. And a fake one won't work. When they do emmissions they check your exhaust. Normally if you don't have a cat your check engine light will come on, and if that happens you automatically fail emmisions. I was looking...
it's always a good idea to compensate for having an older car by maintaining it. I just baught a 98 eclipse rs with 64K miles. The first thing i did was replace all the hoses and fanbelts. Flushed everything. now i don't have to worry about some old rubber hose cracking and me smoking down on...
