    Mitsubishi 'Itsabitshiti' Eclipse

I appreciate your help, I will put the front mount, and the AIT on my list then. (might as well go speed density then)As I said I want to do everything to lower the temperatures, so the FMIC will help too. But this takes a lot of time with all the measuring and the welding (possibly), so I...

    Mitsubishi 'Itsabitshiti' Eclipse

Yep It's way to loud, and also dumps a lot of hot air right under my engine bay. I'm doing everything I can to decrease my engine bay temperatures, so I thought the OEM O2 pipe will help with that. The police is also getting more strict with checking modified cars here in Hungary, and it...

    Mitsubishi 'Itsabitshiti' Eclipse

Last weekend I had some freetime so I took the rear brakes apart, I got new pads and discs, and since I alredy head the Russel SS kit for the rear too, I swapped that too. I wouldn't say the rear brakes were in bad shape but now they are brand new.Speaking of bad shape, I noticed earlier that...

2G GS Eu spec (N/A 4G63) Camshaft vs. GST Camshaft

Thank you!I asked around yesterday, and found out they are different. The N/A ones are tuned for more torque, but lose power after 5k rpm, the GS-T ones are more in sync with the turbo. But with my little t25, there is no sense in changing... it dies after 5k anyways 😅

2G GS Eu spec (N/A 4G63) Camshaft vs. GST Camshaft

What are the part numbers? Maybe I can find out more if I try to look up their specifications. I was almost sure there is a differnece, the CR numbers are different in the 2 variants too...Thanks but they are pretty much in the engine right now, and I don't want to open it up, until I see if...

2G GS Eu spec (N/A 4G63) Camshaft vs. GST Camshaft

Hi guys!I have a 2G GS (Eu spec, N/A 4G63). I converted it to turbo, mostly with stock GS-T parts. I changed the pistons to EVO 8, but I left the cylinder head OEM. Does anyone have any information about the Eu spec camshaft being different then the GS-T camshaft? The car behaves normal, I...

    Mitsubishi 'Itsabitshiti' Eclipse

I had some time to work on the car, so I've done the Evo front brake swap. I done it with changing to Galant Knuckles, I also added Russel SS brakes lines, and mounted the OEM Evo dust shields. One hole is a bit off, but with a small cutting and a bigger washer, I could easily solve that...

2G Black Buildup on exhaust valves

Hi guys! After a year of driving I pulled the exhaust manifold to add some heat shielding. Meanwhile I checked the valves and noticed a slight black buildup on the exhaust valves. I doesn't seem serious, but i think the combustion is not perfect, here is the best pic I could take:I am...

2G Airbag for EVO 8/9 steering wheel in DSM

Hey there!I did a quick search on google and found this 2 part tutorial video. It's a full guide on how to install the steering wheel. It is in Spanish, but it has english subtitles and it's pretty straightforward anyways. But without welding experience or a welder friend this might not be...

4g63 '97 Mitsubishi Eclipse II GS from Portugal

That is a great list! You will need to run over it maybe once again, but it covers about everything you will need for a 300 hp build. As for the 'may not need' parts:- An MDP is not necessary, a MAP sensor better, but it's still only going to be used for fine tuning if you have ECMlink...

4g63 '97 Mitsubishi Eclipse II GS from Portugal

You should be proud of the thorough work you are doing getting ready for the turbo build! It's always better to get all the information and have a complete plan first, then start the build, many people do it the other way around and left with a messed up project that never runs again.A wanted...

2G Help with Euro Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 4G63 NA Tuning

It's always a pleasure to help another fellow European DSMers :D I'm sure your country has some type of aftermarket shop, everyone has something and they can help with getting parts. Even a general parts shop can help you with some basic maintenance parts. As for the first mods, I absolutely...

2G Help with Euro Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 4G63 NA Tuning

I have a EU Spec 2G too, I bought it in 2017, and I was basically in the same shoes as you. I learned a lot from this site, and asked many questions when I got into it deeper. The mods you wrote are good mods (I also like that you included handling an braking upgrades). You can gain some power...

ECMlink ECMlink MAFcomp and TPS adjusment

Thank you for the tip! I had some time this weekend, so I adjusted the TPS to factory spec, and set up my AFR and MAP sensor again to make sure it reads everything correctly. After that I reset everything to 0 in mafcomp and started calibrating again, and that did the trick! First I set the...
