I agree, and although I haven't really been in the market, for a DSM, in decades, I love to see the values continue to climb. The DSM deserves it. I wouldn't be all that interested in one, unless I could still get the basics for it. Like window seals, and bushings, being the most important.I...
Everytime I see a Tropical Lime Metallic 95 Talon, I hope its my old one, but, Im guessing since its in SK, its not a US spec. Still glad to see they are still on the road.
Im going to attempt to source one locally, before I venture out of state. The shipping is anywhere from $400 to $1,400 depending on the distance. If I find something Im interested in, I may attempt to buy it. There is an ad for a complete 99 roller on craigslist, right now, which is only about...
Probably why Im also wary of getting another DSM. After owning 5 of them, and probably putting 20K in at least 2-3 of them...Do I really want another money pit? Well, the answer is probably yes. My problem is, I cant let anything get old. Im now in my early 40s, and Im on my 21st car. I was...
Wheew... Just spent who knows how many hours reading this entire thread. It seriously reads like watching a movie. So many twists and turns. I cant even count how many times you were going to get rid of your car, and didnt. Then got rid of it, and bought something else, only to buy another...
Yeah, I know. It was my 5th DSM. I traded it in with another car. I think the dealer gave me $3500 for it. It was in pretty good shape. But for me, it's the little nit noid things that drive me crazy. I put black seats in it. But I wanted a black dash and black door panels. It needed a fiber...
Unfortunately, I sold mine in March. Very hard to find parts for. I may get another one someday. But, at the time, it was my daily driver. I bought a 2012 car with a warranty and something that gets twice the gas mileage. And of course turbocharged.
I made a post a little while ago, do you have any of this? Mine does the exact same thing yours does.http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/drivetrain-tech/404072-deceleration-noise-driving-me-crazy-video.html
I was just going to say the same thing Paul. Brent 11.9s. Those were the days! I still remember him in the back seat of my GST impressed it was only on a T25. It pulled nice compared to the GSX on the highway.
I think English has the quickest pass of the day. I wanna say his first pass was an 8.5. But the "FASTEST" pass of the day was the Red Speed Factory Integra 8.7@174. Which I thought was funny because the guy next to him that ran the 9 pulled the chute and the 8.7 guy didnt.
