Interesting, so this likely isn't my issue then. I was just surprised that I would see any resistance show between the two since I didnt see any connections between 17 and 24 and chassis ground. When you say leakage, where would that come from? Is it possible that its through my AEM gauges that...
This is helpful for sure. Is there any continuity on the wiring harness side of those pins? IE does the Green / Black wire have any continuity to chassis ground? My wiring diagrams show no continuity, but this is where I have the 1M ohm resistance.
Hello,I have a very odd problem that I am trying to track down. I recently did a lot of electrical work on my car (stripping the harness back, extending wiring, etc) and have an interesting problem. It seems my MPI circuit is cycling from various interior inputs like my turn signals, high...
I always grease the inside of the TOB before I install it on the trans input shaft. I didnt do it one time and it rattled like crazy, since then I always grease the TOB.
Did you grease the TOB before install? They tend to rattle if not greased prior to install. The other thing is you may need to adjust the master cylinder to ensure you are getting proper engagement. I have always followed this video for reference.
Well just following up, this is what I came up with so far. It looks like it should work, but will update. It is a couple of Roll bar mounts I got on Amazon, and I trimmed the factory brackets and drilled a new hole. Looks clean, hopefully holds up well.
Hey, just wondering what people do to secure their 1g awd rear brake lines after installing coil overs? I have been playing around with trying to get the factory brackets to work and it just doesnt seem to work that well. Any pictures or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Small bits to start, and I have found Cobalt drill bits make a massive difference. I had a broken bolt that I tried drilling out with titanium drill bits for over 30 minutes and made virtually no progress. Bought some Cobalt bits and I drilled all the way through in about 2 minutes. It really...
I dont think the bearing in the carrier bearing is the high wear part, ive never seen one that actually had bearing problems, just always split rubber. I think its a decent idea, but interested to hear some reviews from people who actually tried it.
