I wouldn't buy a 'new' Holset, Browse the Cummins forums or Facebook groups. I've picked up three HY's there, one that was rebuilt & ready to bolt on for $150 and two that probably should be rebuilt (or at least thoroughly cleaned) for $75 a piece. I often see HX's for sale for $150-250 on those...
Don't mean to thread jack here, i'm currently running a GM 3 Bar map, i'm upgrading my turbo and will be running more boost (30-35psi). Can i use the plug for the 3 bar for the new 4 bar or are the plugs different?
If you go on the website, They say something about this time of the year offers the best performance and track conditions for the region. They don't elaborate much on that however.

Did you just replace the U-joints and Carriers or did you get a rebuild kit with lobro Joint and everything? i'd like to just do the carrier and U-joints. And were did you get your parts?
Any update on this? Having similar problems and I know my carriers are shot, can I replace just the bearings or do I need to tear apart my shafts as well?
