Car-part is where I was looking for trans. That site also says that there is 20, 21, or 23. All (or most) of the available trans say verify splines.

So, I called the wrecking yard, and the guy was just looking at the computer system. It tells him there is no 22 spline. He tells me there is no 22 spline. He would not help me until I acknowledged that what I needed doesn't exist. I counted splines and got 22.Am I crazy? Or am I right about...

I discovered (thanks dsmtuners!!!) that trans oil leaking directly out of the yoke is a real thing. After replacing the seal 3 times, and still a leak, I thought I would have to live with it forever.Now at least the floor stays pretty clean, but power steering and oil pan keep the motor...

WOW, that rust looks pretty severe. You might be able to send them to a shop that does cam re-grinds. about $100 per cam and they can give you any profile you want. It can be a good way to go for the budget consious
