    1G Rebuild engine, won’t turn over.

    Thank you guys for your help, it’s kicking out the starter, but not turning it now, was a loose connection. I am getting full power to the starter, tested it. I am going to pull it, and try and rebuild it with one of my many other starters.

    Okay, I fixed most of it, it was the alternator fuse, but the starter still doesn’t kick out or turn over, and the fuel pump only turns on when I hold the key in the start position.

    So, I rebuilt my engine, when I pulled it, it ran fine besides the engine having less than 80psi compression.     So, I have a 1991 Eclipse GSX, and my Starter switch stopped broke open, and Is not any good any more. I have a push start set up, but I do not know how to wire up without a key. I have searched for a solution, but I can not find a decent diagram for a 1G. This local guy wants $150 to wire it...

    I have a 91 GSX, and It will go into 2nd, only if I go straight into it. If I go to 3rd, and try to downshift, It feels like I'm hitting a brick. It does not grind, it just wont go into 2nd. Also, if this helps, It wont go into 1st without grinding unless I am at a stop or below 7MPH.

    1G 1G Big Port Intake on a 2G Head?

    I have a 1G head too, should I just sell the 2G Head when I rebuild it?
