This Southbend clutch feels amazing! Just need to find time for cam, intake, and slick install.

Tranmission is back in and the clutch fork is looking good. Just need to slap her back together. Pending Install: bc272's, jmf intake

ALERT! DSM DOWN AGAIN! Timing belt broke while driving, bent valves and took out the head. I initially thought the crank had walked but after measuring virtually no crank play, It looks like the balance belt is to blame (60k miles was asking for it).

      Parts List (delivered):
      Gates racing belt
Balance stub shaft (BSE), oil pump seal and front crank seal
      ARP head studs
      Fel-pro composite head gasket
      BC valve springs
      Valve seals
      EGR blockoff plate
      intake/exhaust valves/guides
      + timing components

UPDATE (10/10): all parts came in, just sent head to machine shop.
(10/17) picked up head and installed stub shaft. Cleaned up front case and started reassembly. Ended up breaking a bolt off in the tensioner arm.
*DONE* Finished everything up and I'm happy to report that SHE'S ALIIIIIIIIVE!

ALERT! DSM DOWN! At first I thought the timing jumped but after further evaluation (and ecmlink), it looks like the crank sensor took a dump...p0335 code, no spark, good fuel pressure, good compression (170 across the board), and timing is perfect.

*fixed* replaced cam sensor with a 1g black top cas

I decided to finally swap in a Holset and exchange the 8cm FP housing for an FP31 (same cost). I intend to machine it to fit my 7blade hx40 and run the FP vband custom o2 housing. Oil feed is already set up with psi gauge, just need to assemble a 12an return line (currently have a 10an). Water lines are already blocked off (or connected rather). So everything is virtually ready to go :)

      ***TO DO LIST***

      *done*Rebuild my 7Blade HX40 - genuine holset kit

      *done*Machine FP31 housing for hx40 - thanks black_gst!

*done*Assemble 12an return line - Picked up all 12an fittings (3/4NPT-to-12an barb, 45* elbow), SS hose from summitracing and the 3/4NPT drain flange from racepartsolutions.

*done*Weld 12an bung to oil pan - Picked up from summitracing

      *done*Get a 44mm wastegate - gsp 44mm vband

      *done*Swap 14b with HX40!

For those that don't know, summitracing.com kicks ass!!!

Most dsmtuners already know that ecmtuning and extremepsi do as well :D
