I created this guide for my 6 Bolt in a 2G swap. I spent many hours putting it together and updated with everything I could find. I know it's not perfect, so please me know if you have any comments or suggestions so I can update my spreadsheet. Be sure to label all hoses and connections.

For a timing belt job, you should just need a timing belt and balance shaft belt (if you still have your balance shafts)Don't forget to replace the idler pully, tensioner, tensioner pully, and balancer pully (if applicable). stubull05 is correct and you should replace the water pump too...

Agree 100%. Manufacturers want to save as much money as they can, but they have to meet certain government standards. They wouldn't install a part that costs them money so the consumer could have some savings by choice.
