When u run a wastegate off the o2 housing your wastegate flap is either removed or welded open, in order to run a wastegate off the manifold it would need to be welded shut. Would be easier to get a dump tube that does not get in your way then set it up to run off the manifold just fyi.

I would check the crank sensor and the cam sensor to make sure both are working correctly

not everyone uses those kits but yeah it does not affect fucnction at all

Smell the exhaust does it have a sweet smell to it? Normally white smoke indicates coolant leaking in the exhaust. Does not need to be a bad head gasket it could also be your turbo seals.
