      It looks like at least the first year of the 3rd Gen utilized the same knuckle as the 2g. As far as when they switched to a larger pin is anybody's guess but we know enough to skip the early 3g and concentrate on the later years.E56A, EA3A...

      I already list it and sold one to a 3G chap. this was based on someone showing me their shock pin which match and that's why i said about i wonder when they swapped over. if they adjusted it in 2001 then they may not work so i will have to check...

      US galant might of got them but i believe the EU galant used the same knuckle as the DSM got. i would have to re dig my galant rear knuckles out again

      i made mine from alloy steel so 4340 EN24T, super strong. i did external threads vs internal for more strength and the fact the seize inside over time and snap so i revised the design to be my specification

      I have a customer with a 3G set i think he said he bought them for and not heard back from it since. if they changed it i wonder when from? they did not need any more taper strength.

      I measured a 2ga FWD, 2ga AWD and 2gb AWD pins and found no major differences between them.I also installed them all into a 2gb knuckle just for shits and giggles and to remove all doubt.

      You may want to partner with @EC17PSE since he produces an aftermarket version of the mount and may know the difference between the awd/fwd rear mount bolt.

      I have one 1G unit ready made to go! In raw finish it can be packed and shipped with in 2 days.Black costing can be added but delays a few days for the process.Avoid the 2-3 week wait times normally had with order them as they are made to order.
