Thats a cool project man. I'm building a rail too. Mine is using a ga16de out a of a nissan nx. Except I wont be using the vw trans I will be mounting it mid-engine in the back of the rail the way it would be in the car. Keep up the good work!

Alsoi for a street car if you wanted to remove the front and rear bumpers you could replace them with aluminum ones out of a luxury car. I know infiniti I-30's came with aluminum bumpers because that's where I got mine from. Also caddys, and a few other luxury cars have aluminum bumpers. Go peek...

You should check out tarmac black its a color that cmae on the evo's. Its black with lik ea purple tint to it in the sun. Lots of flake and looks sick.It looks exactly like that color on that z

I have plans to do a box in my 1g. 1 18" cerwin vega and 2 10" subs. The newer evo color tarmac black is sick. I know you said no black but in the sun it has a purple flake in it that really stands out. I plan on painting my 1g gsx this color. I painted a 2008 lancer this color and loved it so much I want it.
