The dedication and patience you have put into this rare bird is highly admirable. You my friend are awesome, just like that car. Hope to see it in person on next years shootout.

Thanks very much for the kind words and support. I definitely tried to get the car done before the Shootout this year, but couldn't quite make the deadline. Fingers crossed for next year!

I love the brake calipers with the Mitsubishi lettering on them. Did they really come from a 3000GT?

Thanks! And, they did indeed come stock from Mitsubishi. They came factory equipped on '91-'93.5 Mitsubishi 3KGT VR-4s. Pair them with a set of adapter brackets and you have a factory looking big brake upgrade.

Some of these photos are in my profile, but it's hard to make sense of them. Here's a chronological progression of my Galant VR4 (1837/2000) over the years.

To see information, details, and drama associated with the build itself, it is completely documented on Galantvr4.org here: http://www.galantvr4.org/ubbthreads...1145300&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

Here's 1837 looking all bare bones (August, 2011)

Started the process of reconditioning my wiring harness. Here's the progress:

Got some more work done on the harness. Some of the sheathing was looking crappy, so I removed the old, and replaced it with new.

Some of the connectors were looking rough too. Replaced those as well.

It's about 50% complete at this point. I need to order some larger diameter DR-25 for some of my other connectors. I'm also waiting on some more new connectors to come in the mail for the CAS ans TPS.

Im Glad Your car is getting the recognition it deserves ! :thumb: Front Page status now. Congrats on an always great build, looking forward to see more .That eterna grille is a nice touch, and i want that valve cover ! I wish mine looked like that.;)

Ok, so I'm recapping some stuff just to document everything I've done to the car in the build thread. I also have some new updates as well. Be prepared to scroll...A LOT.

After pulling the motor, I decided to restore and recover the wiring harness. I used new Raychem covering and replaced connectors where needed. Here are some shots of it before:
