I bought a bone stock 95 Talon TSi FWD on Thanksgiving and have added a few parts so far :
Magnecore 8.5mm wires..
Denso Irdium Plugs...
Injen Intake w/ Filter...
Crushed 1g BOV...
Buschur Racing UICP w/ TB elbow...
Autometer Pro Comp Boost..

Im getting ready for the spring when all the ricer's decide that they are hot shit. I was debating between 17 wheels and new rubber or a turbo-back exhaust system. Which will be more beneficial for a FWD?? Im running stock boost but get mad wheel hop if i even go 3/4 throttle. I know the turbo-back will increase HP and throttle response but if i cant keep the tire on the ground then it doesnt help. Im open for any input, im new to the DSM world, but i love this car!!

wheel hop is due to the motor rocking back and forth, getting urathane motor mounts help out alot. and for your ? get the exhaust and smoke those hondas this spring

great idea

get the exhaust... your car will sound better and be faster.
If you can't get traction thats ok.. you will catch up once you do:thumb:

Thanks for the input guys....how hard is it to do motor mounts?? Could i do it myself?? I actually have access to the autoshop at my school to use the lift if i need to. Once again thanks everyone.:thumb:

While im at it, if i dont plan on upgrading my turbo anytime soon, and running stock boost right now, should i go Turbo-back or Cat-back (maybe a high flow cat with it) 2.5" or 3". Sorry for all the questions, i just want to run well but need to save some money for college.:talon:

for someone like you...i would go w/ just cat-back for now. 3 or 2.5 depends on what your future holds. If you dont really plan on doing a large turbo than 2.5 is enough

do the turbo back with a test pipe istead of a cat, more power , and incase u do change the turbo n wut not then u have the right parts
