Oh man, this was gut wrenching! I wasn't sure how fast I'd be with the new mods. A conservative guess had me around 12.2 or 12.3. Deep inside I really wanted an 11. So when my first run of the day turned out to be a 12.08 @ 113.69 I thought I'd get into the 11's if I could get a little more out of the car. I read the datalog, tweaked the tune a little, upped the stutterbox to 5750rpm, and wished for just a little bit of luck. Yep, sure enough my second run had a better 60' time, better 330' time, better 1/8 time, AND THEN I MISSED 4TH!
OK no worries I can try again next time.
3rd run was 12.060 @112.81 Nope, try again.
4th run was 12.071 @113.53 argh! Now I know how Phil Beers must feel.
I mention Phil because he's been a bit of an inspiration for me to make these runs with the mods I have. That's because I'm running a 14b turbo, stock 450cc injectors, stock sidemount intercooler, and stock IC pipes. I even drove the car to the track and back home.
I really, REALLY wanted an 11 today.

Compared to stock timing I added 3 degrees at 6k, 8 more at 6500 rpm, and 11 more at 7k!
I guess it worked
