Ok, I'll recap what has happened so far for anyone who hasnt read my first post.

I had just finished timing belt when I drove the car to the end of the driveway at it shut off after idling for a few minutes. When I tried to start the car, sometimes it would start for a few seconds and go up to 500rpm then shut off. Giving the car gas made it want to die.

I thought I might had been out of gas becuase it was running on E since I got it (car isnt registered), so I filled it with about 5 gallons but the car wouldnt start. My wires were really messed up, so I tried replacing those with no luck. I also replaced the battery since my other one was drained but that didnt fix the problem either.

From there I checked spark on all the plugs and it checked out fine. I checked compression with 160 across the board. I also pulled off the fuel filter and cranked it over to seee if it was getting gas, and it was. From there I put on the filter and cranked it and fuel was going through the filter, which it was. I'm not sure if it is enough, but it was coming out the filter at a moderate rate.

Now at this point the car would SOMETIMES start and jump up to 3k but you had to keep giving it gas to keep it alive, even then it would poop out in about 10 seconds.

Yesterday I went back out and tried to crank it, but got the same results.

Today I went back out and tried to start it. For some reason the car started fine after a few tries but you had to keep giving it gas to keep it alive although it felt like it wanted to die. After giving it gas for about a minute it would hold a steady idle, but shortly after that the car died. When I tried to restart it, the car wouldnt even try to turn over. Come to find out the car burnt out the ignition fuse, totally breaking the connection inside the fuse much how a light bulb goes out. I replace the fuse with another 30a fuse and within a few more tries I was able to get the car to start as it did a few minutes prior. I did the same thing but this time it held idle for a long time, and just as I was getting out of the car to close the hood the car dies.

Now the car is doing the same thing again, with starting and dying at 500rpm.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Prior to this the car ran fine with no problems.

Also the fuel pump relay is clicks once when I turn the key to start, and clicks again when I stop cranking. Is this normal? I know its the fuel pump relay becuase I can feel it when it ticks.

But are you getting fuel at the injectors? Are the spark plugs wet (with gas) after all of the cranking, starting, dying, etc.?

What are your mods (update your profile)? Make sure that your MAS is plugged in. Boost leak test results?

I would highly recomend replacing the spark plugs, I had the exact same problem and the spark plugs had fowled out, apparently the NGK spark plugs fowl out very easy. dont bother spending 5 dollars a plug to replace them with the NGKs, just grab the 1.99 champions I found that they work great. For 8 bucks, you can save youself a lot of head ache.:thumb:

Ok well heres a bit of an update.

Today I went out to try my luck again, and the car started doing the same stuff like going up to 3k and stuff. But then the car started to not even respond to my foot motions, or it would a few seconds late. Giving the car gas would cause it to die out every time. Also now I have smoke coming up from my dash, that means a wire is shorted right?

Also I just noticed this when its dark out, my ignition fuse glows red hot when the car actually runs, what does this mean?'

I also noticed one of my injector wires is bare wire, but there is no spark arcing off of it. I also hear something arcing after the car shuts off, but I dont see any sparks. It sound like it's coming from the fuel rail area.

BTW the car is 100% stock.
