I was just curious if anyone has any real data on the difference in performance or expected time before failure between the 270 deg. and 360 deg. thrust bearing.
My T04b V-trim apparently has the 270 thrust bearing. I'm also curious as to what the cost difference would be between the two and if any turbo could interchange between the two thrust bearings.
I guess what I'm also wondering, is that if the cost difference is not too great and the 360 is far superior (more rugged), then why wouldn't all vendors put the 360 in all of their high flow-rate turbos--since more than likely they will expect to see quite a bit of abuse...(especially from us DSMers)
