290awhp on the first run untuned (dynapack dyno). 321awhp after timing advance - raised boost - leaning WOT fuel on maft. 7 pulls. 14b, stock motor, balance shafts intact, a/c, 1/4 tank of 93 octane, 6 gallons of 100 octane - same setup that I ran a 12.5@109 with last year.

yea, it says flywheel, so im guessing thats what it is, anyways, i hope to follow in your path, as i too will be keeping my stock 14b and moding it, although i probably wont get as many mods as you, im trying to keep this low budget, so maybe ill see somewhere north of 250 wheel hp

Its actually ALL WHEEL power, the second graph say flywheel but note the 1.00 correction factor at the bottom. Crazy New Zealanders.

I was there, I dynoed the car, It made that power to all 4 wheels, just to clarify LOL :thumb:

The 14b continues to amaze me....
That is just f'n awesome man. Do you plan on going with a bigger turbo now, or are you gonna try and push the 14b even more?

in the video it looks like its hooked up to the axel, so wouldnt that be axle hp?

WOW dude, u shouldnt talk again. BTW, i was there with colin (sleepyvr4) and dynoed my FWD. 14b, 14 psi, intake, open stock DP, 2.5 inch o2 housing with dump, walboro 190 and safc MILDLY tuned i put down 242 whp and 264 ft/lb of torque. i could have pulled more out of it with more boost and some more tuning but i only had 2 pulls. ill be back later this month with some more mods hopin to putdown over 300whp...still on 14b bitches.

what? theres nothing in the wheel weld, and a wheel acts as a leaver, so the numbers would change wouldnt they?

ummmm...last time i checked the wheels bolt to the hubs, which is where the dyno is attached to, and for 70 thousand dollars, im sre they take any variables into consideration, but maybe Nate needs to come on here and explain it better for you. :toobad: and what the hell is a wheel weld.

the wheel weld (im most likely spelling it wrong) is the thing that goes around the wheel, its whats behind your intercooler, and what those vents that prevent any rocks from hitting the intercooler are attached too...also forgot that hp is kilowatts, so its not affected by a lever, but wouldnt ft lbs be affected by it?

6cm housing. I plan on eliminating balance shafts, getting fp1 or 263 cams, and eventually 9:1 pistons. Other little tweaks are in the works too. I'd like to get into the 11's with the 14b, full interior, and a/c. We'll see.

Yes..one HP=746 watts, which we all know is unit measurement of heat dissipation. Im digging the HP curve :thumb: but i am still at a loss as how to keep the torque curve from sloping like Aspen CO ski slopes. I have the 14b right now also, and I still havent read anywhere about how to maintain the torque curve longer.

if you decide to put off getting a bigger turbo, perhaps a different intake manifold or some hks 272s? bigger tb or ic sprayer?

Very nice numbers on a 14B. I definitely have respect for that Galant VR4 too. It's such a sleeper. People must be so perplexed when you beat their Vettes with that.

:slaps forehead: i can't believe i forgot to mention alcohol or water injection. there are lots of ways to gleen more power from a turbo once you feel that you've reached th max on the fuel you choose
