- Old school FP Green turbo, 4" intake pipe, Indy Race Cores big FMIC, custom SS piping, 63mm Evo 3 throttle body, Hi-Z Injector Dynamics 1100cc injectors, Evo 3 intake manifold, Evo 3 exhaust manifold and O2 housing, RRE 3" downpipe, custom SS 3' exhaust with Vibrant muffler and dual SS tips, started out as a Thermal system. Walbro HP 255, upgraded lines and wiring.
- Mods-Engine
- 2.4 liter Hyundai Sonata block and crank, 9.0:1 Wiseco pistons, Eagle rods, 2g head lightly ported with Evo 8 valves, springs and retainers, HKS 272 cams. Currently no balance shafts or oil squirters, will be adding those back in over the winter.

- Shep Stage 3 trans with 4-spider center diff, double synchro 1-4, Evo 3 taller 5th gear. Southbend DXD street disc clutch, Symoborski solid shifter bushings.
- Mods-Handling
- 17x9" staggered offset Enkei RPF1's, 255/45/17 Yokohama's, no spacers. Evo 8 JIC Magic coilovers adapted to DSM fitment. Front and rear subframes rebuilt with poly bushings, shortened rear lower control arms, active toe bushings welded in, trailing arms notched and welded for rear wheel clearance. Suspension techniques rear sway bar.

- My second DSM, bought in 1999 from local legend, ran low 12's in the mid-90's. Hundreds of passes at the track almost always low 12's at around 120mph, upgraded through the 2000's to 605whp but lost reliability. Got tired of drag racing, sold most of the performance parts and let it sit for most of late 2000's. Picked up interest about five years ago turning it into a comfy street car wtih a stock 2.0 16g, then added 2003-built 2.4 short block and have slowly gotten it to it's present setup which is my favorite for street use. Will be doing a few events per summer of auto-x, roadcourse and drag combination. All work on the car done by me including paint except for transmission build and tuning. I've bought and sold over 100 DSM's since I bought this car.
