So it all started with a drunken conversation. My brother-in-law brought up the idea of running 24 hours of lemons in an eagle talon. 10 years ago I was pretty deep into DSM's. Was young broke and stupid.
Fast forward to 1 year ago. Our conversation happened and we found a 1990 eagle talon GS that have been used on a dirt track. We purchased the vehicle then we spent way too much time and money making it road course worthy.
first race we made all of 80 laps in and broke down we havd problems with an injector. Second race made 240 laps only major issue we broke the rear trailing arm. We finish that race after doing a quick repair to blow the clutch in the transmission later and Sunday afternoon.
So now we're going to fast forward to last month we decided we needed more power so that we could actually be a competitor in the series. So I found a 1990 Eagle Talon local and while I was in Tennessee our team went and purchased the car. We got the car home putting on a lift and the car was so dusty it was unsafe. Not to mention the fact that the motor cylinders are out around .005 and now it has to be rebuilt.
Luck would have it we found a 1992 Plymouth Laser shell that is rust free. Right now it is a roller and we will start building for next year's races

It seems that my post is too long and it got cut off. Basics are we will be looking for cheap / donated parts or sponsors and will try to keep an open seat for anyone that wouldn't mind coming for one of the races and drive. These races are not cheap and any driver will be responsible for their part of the cost of the race
