- I purchased this vehicle used in 2017 with a blown motor from a man in Hudson FL. He said that the car had 10:1 compression and that the waste gate failed; peaking full boost, resulting in detonation. Cylinder 2 received an unmachinable side wall chip from a triangular piece of the piston head that blew past the piston ring. Block is unusable. Manley rods may be salvageable. 16g Turbo is in good shape. The motor needs complete rebuild. Drive train status unknown. I've never driven her. :( This will be my first build ever.
Buying a house and adding a room addition has taken a front seat to this expensive side project.
-low compression (as close to stock as I can get) 7.5:1 - 8.5:1
-Race bearings, Head studs, Springs, Retainers
-Run 15lbs for daily use. But can withstand low 30lbs.
-97oct (no E85 for my first build)
-Learn how to tune and manage mid 20lbs without blowing anything up.
-HP goal of 300
