- Made a trade deal to a good buddy of mine, a freshly machined block and crank for the whole car running. Is technically a parts car to donate the engine to my other 1g as it has a real strong 6 bolt, things happened and I ended up without a beater for this coming winter when the transmission in the family mini van decided it wanted to have 5 neutrals and I had to let my wife have the Crown Victoria back for now. It hit me I have this rusty but amazing running 1g sitting here, why not have a fun winter beater and donate the engine to my other 1g in the spring. It’s still structurally sound but body wise it’s a complete rot bucket so blasting salt all over this one isn’t going to hurt it any more than it has and the DSM world isn’t out anything when I part it out when I’m done.
